Setting Up a Dataset #

A fresh dataset needs a handful of configuration steps before it’s ready for day-to-day use. Work through these in order — each step builds on the previous one.

  1. Cloud Storage — connect Google Drive
  2. Users & Roles — invite team members and define their permissions
  3. Defaults — company information, financial settings, and accounting defaults
  4. Chart of Accounts — review, add, and configure your accounts
  5. Taxes — set up tax rates and codes
  6. Currencies — add foreign currencies if needed
  7. Bank Accounts — link bank accounts for reconciliation
  8. Templates — configure document templates (invoices, statements)
  9. Manage Workstations — configure approval routing for AR and AP
